Visitors are advised that the Coffee Shop is currently closed. Our Restaurant is open from 10am - 3pm.

Pre-book your visit

With so much to see and do it helps to plan your day in advance. You can prepare using the helpful guidance and travel information on our Plan Your Visit pages below.

Entry to the Arboretum is free, but for everyone's comfort we are limiting the numbers in our buildings and grounds. We recommend pre-booking your visit to guarantee entry. Our grounds are open from 10am – 4pm.

For the comfort of our visitors here’s how we plan to keep you safe and ensure that you enjoy your visit to our site:

  • Capacity control – for everyone’s comfort we are limiting the numbers in our buildings and grounds.
  • Clean environment – we regularly clean all areas and encourage visitors to wash and sanitise their hands.
  • Leave space – we encourage all to be considerate of others’ personal space.
  • Face coverings – face coverings are welcome, and our team will continue to wear their face coverings indoors.
