Terms and Conditions of Booking

Opening times:

The National Memorial Arboretum is open to the general public 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day). Summer opening hours are 10am – 5pm, winter opening hours are 10am – 4pm. 

Weather:

Your booking will still go ahead in inclement weather unless advised otherwise.

 

Non-attendance/delay:

In the instance of arriving late, or not arriving at all, you will be charged the full amount for the package booked. If a delay is anticipated please contact the switchboard immediately on 01283 245 100.

Services of Remembrance:

If you are intending to host a service of Remembrance during your visit please inform our team by calling 01283 245 100.

Merchandise:

Sale of merchandise and services on site is only permissible with prior agreement of the Arboretum; any sales will be subject to a 15% commission payment to the Arboretum on the day of your visit. 

Fundraising:

As a registered charity, only fundraising for the Arboretum is permissible on site.

Management:

The Arboretum reserves the right to alter dates, time of opening, pricing and services offered without prior notice. However, all efforts will be made to notify you in advance.

 

Contingency:

In exceptional circumstances, the Arboretum reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking. Subject to satisfactory resolution of any issues, in such circumstances either an alternative date will be offered, or the client will be offered a full refund.

Press and media:

If you are planning publicity for your visit, you must liaise with our PR advisor to ensure that you and the Arboretum are appropriately represented.  Guidelines, as well as a filming agreement form, are available from the Group Bookings Team or may be downloaded from the media section of our website.  Please note that a location fee may be applicable. 

 

Filming:

In accordance with the Arboretum’s general conditions of entry, no visitors entering the site should do so for the purpose of direct commercial gain, unless with prior approval. Should the proposed use be in respect of anything other than a factual report or broadcast (e.g. a DVD for commercial distribution), a charge will be made.
