Walking For Health

Sited in the heart of the nation, with 25,000 maturing trees and over 400 memorials, the Arboretum is a beautiful place to visit, walk and be amongst nature.

The walks last between 45 minutes and 1 hour, and are aimed at getting people more active whilst at the same time enjoying their local environment.

People of any level of fitness can take part in these walks, as the trained walk leaders can adapt the walk to suit any pace.

Upon arrival in the Arboretum's car park please ask at the Welcome Desk for the days meeting point. 

These walks may take you off our hard standing pathways, please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear and are dressed appropriate for the weather.
