We look forward to welcoming visitors to the National Memorial Arboretum this Easter holiday. Please be aware that planned improvement works on the A38 at Lichfield, in place from 27 March to 8 April, may affect some visitor road travel. The Arboretum will remain open daily as normal, from 10am – 5pm, and signposted diversion routes will remain in place to support journeys impacted.
This permanent
exhibition provides a preview of the Arboretum and an introduction to the concept
of Remembrance, looking at why it is an important human need spanning thousands
of years.
Experience the Arboretum through the seasons in our 270-degree film, discover what wildlife calls the Arboretum home, or uncover personal links to the site through our interactive databases.
Younger visitors will enjoy getting hands on by designing a memorial garden of their own, or taking a walk through our digital path of leaves and revealing the field of poppies beneath.
Visitors of all ages are encouraged to leave a personal tribute or shared anecdote in our memory booth.
