Find Out More

Holocaust Memorial Day is marked annually to remember the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of people murdered under Nazi persecution of other groups and during more recent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

Gather your students and take part in our free workshops to learn more about the Holocaust. Throughout the day your students will explore our memorials to discover the importance of Remembrance, and take part in classroom activities to discover more about some of the personal stories of those affected by that period of time.

Your day will also include an Act of Remembrance in the Arboretum Chapel.
