The Service is free to attend, and will take place at the base of the Armed Forces Memorial. The Service will also be relayed on a large screen in Heroes' Square.
Please note the Armed Forces Memorial will be closed until after the Service of Remembrance concludes.
We are anticipating a very busy day at the National Memorial Arboretum as thousands of people gather to pay their respects at the Nation’s year-round place to remember.
We strongly encourage pre-booking your car parking space to guarantee entry ahead of our Remembrance Sunday Service as only limited parking spaces are available. Everyone with a pre-booked parking space for the 8am to 10am sessions will be admitted to the Arboretum in time for the service, please have your booking reference to hand on arrival to support our team in getting you parked as quickly and safely as possible.
There is ample parking available for afternoon sessions across the weekend, offering you the opportunity to explore our 150-acres of gardens and woodlands and uncover some of the incredible stories of service and sacrifice encapsulated within our more than 400 memorials.
We strongly recommend that you do book your visit in advance if you wish to visit the Arboretum on Remembrance Sunday.
If you wish to arrive for the Service, we recommend selecting either the 8am or 9am arrival slot.
We are expecting large volumes of visitors on Remembrance Sunday. To help ensure that visitors are able to enter our site as quickly as possible we're asking all visitors to arrive in their allocated time slot.
If you are no longer able to find you ticket confirmation email please email info@thenma.org.uk, indicating your arrival time slot and the name under which your booking was made and our team will aim to resend your confirmation email.
Queries that arrive outside of our opening hours will not be picked up until the next working day.
We will be utilising all of our parking areas on Remembrance Sunday. Please follow the instructions of our parking attendants on duty who direct you to a parking area.
If you require Blue Badge parking, please let our Car Parking Team know upon arrival.
On Remembrance Sunday Car Park A, next to the Remembrance Centre, will be made available to blue badge holders. Available spaces will be issued on a first-come-first served basis. A pick-up/ drop-off point is also available close to the Remembrance Centre. Please follow the instructions of our parking attendants on duty.
The Arboretum has a limited number of both manual wheelchairs (by donation) and motorised scooters (£10.00) which can be booked by calling 01283 245 100.
We strongly recommend booking these in advance if you know you will require their use.
The Remembrance Centre will open at 8am on Remembrance Sunday.
Please ensure that you arrive within the time slot booked. We recommend booking either the 8am or 9am arrival slot if you wish to arrive in time for our Service of Remembrance.
The Remembrance Sunday service will take place in the event of inclement weather.
We are an outdoor site, we recommend that our visitors dress appropriately for the expected outdoor weather and temperature.
The Remembrance Sunday service will begin from 10:30am. If you wish to join us for the service we recommend booking either the 8am or 9am arrival slot online. Please ensure you arrive within your booked time slot.
We are expecting a large number of visitors onsite on Remembrance Sunday ticket holders are advised to allow more travel time than normal when planning their journeys.
Wreaths and individual tokens of Remembrance, such as fresh flowers or poppy tributes, may be laid after the service has ended and the Armed Forces Memorial has re-opened to the public. You are also welcome to lay your tributes at any of our other memorials throughout the day.
Poppy tributes are available to purchase within the Remembrance Centre.
