Case Study: Briggs Equipment

Briggs Equipment Ltd have partnered with the Arboretum for over seven years in a relationship that has evolved over time. 

Their support of Armed Forces Weekend, through financial sponsorship alongside memorable activities such as Forklift Basketball have enabled thousands of people to celebrate the contribution of our Armed Forces Community. 

Donations of large and small machinery for use within our grounds, has changed the way that our grounds team operate, enabling us to do more work ourselves that would otherwise have cost several thousands of pounds. 

Throughout the year, their teams come and volunteer at the Arboretum, and in September 2025 they came to polish the brass plaques of the Basra War Memorial in tribute to those commemorated by the Memorial. Many of their team, have a special connection to the memorial, with friends and family having served in Basra.
