Additional Information

Where will the Cinema be located?
The screen will be located on the lawn adjacent to the Armed Forces Memorial. You can access the site via the Remembrance Centre .
Will there be food and drink available on the evening?
We will have a delicious selection of food and drink available on site. You are also welcome to bring a picnic. We politely request that you do not bring naked flames, BBQ’s, gas stoves or candles, and that any glass bottles are decanted into plastic.
Will there be toilets available?
There will be toilets available throughout the evening within our Remembrance Centre, a short walk from the Luna Cinema site.
Will the screening go ahead in bad weather?
Please note we will go ahead with the screening in the event of bad weather, unless there are exceptional circumstances (where the safety of the audience is at risk of being compromised). Luna Cinema will keep you informed if the event is to be cancelled but please assume the events are continuing unless you hear otherwise.
What time will the event end?

The films are due to begin at around 9:15pm, however this is subject to change on the evening. For example, if it is an especially bright and sunny day, the increased light levels will mean we have to delay the screening until it is dark enough for our audience to see the film properly.

If you are planning to order a taxi or organise a pick up at the Arboretum for your departure, we recommend waiting until after the film has started to arrange this.

Film run times are below:

Rocketman: 2h 2m

Dirty Dancing: 1h 40m

1917: 1h 59m

Will I have to pay for parking?
If you are arriving by car, and parking in our car park during the screening, then our £4 parking charge will apply. This can be paid upon your arrival at the Arboretum.
Can I bring my own seating?
If you have a general admission ticket, feel free to bring something to sit on (blanket or picnic chair) to be comfortable. Please don’t bring tents, gazebos, parasols or pop-up structures.
Can I bring my dog?
Only working assistance dogs will be allowed at the Luna Cinema.
Can I smoke/use my electronic cigarette?
We kindly request that if you are wanting to smoke or use an electronic cigarette, you do so in our designated smoking areas.
